the 2016 nevada caucus wrapped- up tuesday with donald trump winning in convincing fashion. trump received nearly double the amount of votes as the second- place finisher... marco rubio.

in studio with a look at the results and reaction from the donald himself. nick? this was a huge or -- 'yuge' -- win for donald trump, here in nevada. the official final vote count is not in... ...but trump is the undisputed g-o-p frontrunner in nevada with just under 46 percent of the caucus vote. so far -- trump has taken twelve of the state's 30 delegates. it's a close race for second place. rubio is currently the second-place holder at just under 24 percent... ...while ted cruz is in third at 21.4 percent. both rubio and cruz currently hold 5 of the state's delegates. if you do the math on that -- there are still eight nevada delegates yet to be awarded, though it's safe to assumethe majority of those will be trump's. once trump was projected as the nevada caucus winner -- the front-runner touted his campaign's ability to appeal to a wide audience. "we won with young, we won with old. we won with

educated. i love the poorly educated." after two primaries and two caucuses, trump has a commanding lead. he is projected to hold 79 delegates overall, when the final nevada results are tallied. ted cruz is in second with 16, rubio third with 15, kasich has five, and carson has three. the next important date on the g-o-p primary calendar is march first -- also known as 'super tuesday.' alabama, alaska, arkansas, georgia, massachusetts, minnesota, oklahoma, tennessee, texas, vermont, and virginia will hold their primaries. 595 delegates will

caucuses. and a major distraction outside cimarron high school's caucus had some concerned. a group of people claiming to support donald trump showed up dressed as k-k-k members. these pictures were sent to us from fox5 viewers via social media. one sign read "president trump put up that wall." another read..."trump 2016, make america great again." one person said the group was also chanting "take our country back." people on both sides of the aisle took offense to the display. we know last

for republicans here in the valley, but the democratic candidates are focused on south carolina. hillary clinton and bernie sanders will face off in the primary there on saturday. both presidential hopefuls focused on race during a town hall in south carolina...with sanders taking jabs at the gop candidates. (bernie sanders/(d) presidential candidate): "my dad came from poland. i'm running for president. guess what? no one's asked for my birth certificate. maybe it's the color of my skin." clinton also touched on race. she was asked about beyonce's new song "formation" which talks about police brutality. clinton did say there's alot that needs to be done in the criminal justice system and the problems can't be ignored. the man accused of the deadly shooting near the las vegas strip... is due in court this morning. police say ex- talley got into a fight with the victims last friday inside the parking garage at the miracle mile shops at planet hollywood.

bloc m. they also say surveillance video ft the fight. police are hoping surveillance video will help them track down 3 burglars who broke into a valley home. it happened at a home near lamb and north las vegas boulevard last month. police say the men ransacked the home taking money and jewelry with them. one of the suspects even took the home's surveillance camera. but metro says the camera was uploading video to the internet during the robbery. here's another look at the suspects. police say all 3 are black males in their early 20's. anyone with information on this burglary is asked to call crimestoppers at 702-385-55-55. more top stories for you this morning... the owner of a gun store in michigan says the man who went on a shooting spree saturday was in the store that same day. the southwick gun shop released these surveillance images of suspect

regular there. year-old uber driver shot 8 people over and killed 6. he's facing 16 including 6 counts firearms charges. dead..after a home in phoenix yesterday. police say the house was set on suspect shot his family. firefighters and police responded to an initial call from people inside the home who said they were being shot. as officials were trying to rescue people from the home...they were being shot at from the second floor. police say the shooter-- was a 26-year-old man who had a history of drug abuse. they say the man shot his mother, father and sivestigating 14 new cases of the zika virus due to sexual transmission. the center says several of the cases involve pregnant women. zika is typically contracted by a mosquito bite, but the cdc says sexual relations

nonprofit groups are asking the n- f-l to stop offering fantasy sports competition to children. "the national council on problem gambling" and "the campaign for a commercial-free childhood" sent a letter to commissioner roger goodell complaining about a fantasy sports game on "n-f-l rush", a website and smartphone app for children. they say it could lead kids down a path of gambling addiction. in the game kids could win a 5- thousand dollar scholarship and tickets to the pro-bowl. the n-f-l says parents had to give conset before their children could play games.

up with the henderson fire department -- to host a series of drills for fire crews across the country. they're training at the high roller this morning... thats where we find fox5's shannon moore --- she's live with a look at what's happening. the high roller is the perfect place to train -- its high tech..... its structually unique -- and is what crews describe as an "intense rescue" the department's

firefighters from orlando and new york city -- orlando has a similar wheel to the high roller, and new york is in the funding phase to build theirs. from evacuation drills to team building exercises crews tell me roughly 30- thousand dollars was spent on things like ropes, harnesses and trolleys to ensure a safe resue in case of an emergency. training shouldn't affect business today - organizers plan to wrap things up mid- morning before the high roller opens. now this isn't the first time crews have trained here. we've actually covered their exercises before --- it's quite a site to see those drills are expected to start around 7.

'super tuesday' is scheduled for march first. 11 states will hold primaries, putting nearly 600 delegates up for

rescue for a full morning of drills atop the high roller. organizers tell me the wheel, which is 500 feet above ground -- is the most technologically advanced of its kind -- making it the perfect spot for a resuce situation. it's also got a custom made zip line that transports rescuers to the rim of the wheel in case of an emergency. now this isn't the first time crews have trained here. we've covered their drills numerous times it's a way to make sure these men and women are in top shape for any situation and excellent team building. now of couse will touch base with you guys again once those drills get

for you this morning... a wreckage of small plane that went missing in nepal on wednesday has been found. search crews have located some of the bodies but fear that all 18 passengers and 3 crew members who were on the plane have died. the flight was only supposed to last for about 19 minutes ... but contact was lost shortly after takeoff. there was 21 people on board. at least 3 people are dead after a string of storms move through the southeast. the storms ripped the wall off of a gym in louisiana. a tornado touched down in pensacola, florida yesterday. it damaged at least three apartment buildings at a complex in the city. there are reports that several people were injured... and search rescue operations are underway. the same storm system also touched down in mississippi. fox five's nick lagrange joins us in studio with a look at the results and what's still ahead this primary season. nick? donald trump is the undisputed front-runner for the g-o-p nomination, right now. he won big, here in nevada. but the other candidates could very quickly close that gap on super tuesday, next week. the official final vote count is not in... ...but trump currently holds just under 46 percent of the nevada caucus vote. so far -- trump has taken 14 of the state's 30 delegates. rubio now has 7, cruz has 6, and kasich and carson each received one. 'super tuesday' is scheduled for march first. 11 states will hold primaries, putting nearly 600 delegates up for grabs. that means the gap between trump and the other candidates could close very quickly. or -- trump's lead could become nearly insurmountable. guess which outcome trump's banking on.
